Illumination

The segment of homogeneous illumination became more and more important over the past few years. We noticed an increasing demand for efficient and intelligent illuminating in any industry area. For this reason a.p.microelectronic concentrated on this topic and developed several concepts.
In the following we metioned two possible applications:

1) Illumination of oblong areasusing LED, light conductor and dispersion plate/ foil

Electronic features:

• intelligent light injection,
• PCB with special light conductor
• high quality of homogeneous illumination
• ultraflat construction: current 2mm, prospective 1mm.

Application (automobile):

• trim strip in area of center console,
  doors and roof interiors

Application (Furniture industry):

• steps illumination,
• front panel

2) Illumination large areasusing LED, light conductor and dispersion plate

Application:

• Object and room illumination,
• Search and function light

Electronic features:

• RGB bar with 15 LEDs,
• intelligent light injection.
• homogeneous illumination ofareas throughout to borders(no visible LED corona )
