At the moment passenger compartment‘s of vehicles experiences a dynamic change. Next to holistic concepts to brand differentiation there are several small and medium-sized companies, which shapes the appearance of vehicles, especially on functional level.Networked safety concepts in cockpits play an significant role here, as well as increasing requirements with a view to comfort, infotainment, design and illuminating.

Altogether detail innovations become more and more important from customer‘s point of view. For this reason SME have to find new applications for their technologies and emerge them as series-production readiness in specific engagement with the OEM‘s.

Report of auto cluster meeting from 31.05.2011

At the auto cluster meeting NRW with the topic „new trends in automobile interior“ we had 25 participants from all over NRW. Several presentations by different speakers (Mr Barckmann, comp. EDAG; Mr Lott comp. Nichia, Mr Priewe and Mr Brandenbusch comp. a.p.) provided an insight into future development of automobile interior from the view of the performing companies.After the on-site inspection and serving the participants at the „get together“ there were further discussions about the main topic „car of the future“.Conclusion:In general the event left a positive impression, so that our management considers to arrange similar events at our company repetitive and with other, likewise interesting topics.
