The need for reduction of co2 emissions more and more forces the automotive industry todevelop environment-friendly solutions. a.p. microelectronic GmbH developed anelectronic component that enables vehicles to be modified to LPG engines, so that evenolder vehicles could reduce their emissions.
We accomplished this by modifying thefunctional principle of the lambda probe, whichis responsible for making the engine control unitfunction correctly.When measured, the exhaust gases of a fueldriven car creates different values than thatones of a gas driven vehicles.With our lambda module the car electronicsindicate the correct status of the exhaust gases,it corrects the measured values electronicallyand forwards them to the system of the car.
The LPG lambda relay module allows thedriver to choose between LPG and fueleasily.The module is a vehicle upgrade. It isinstalled underneath the car between theexisting wiring harness where it can becontrolled with special electronics.a.p. microelectronic developed, produces,and delivers the LPG lambda relay modulewhich is grouted corresponding to the highenvironmental requirements in theautomotive branch.The whole set is offered in specializedshops for Volkswagen and other carmanufacturers.
